After yet another boat trip, I’ve arrived on the island of Santorini

Which is as beautiful as everyone says

Although seeing the town perched on the edge of the cliff is a bit unnerving

I’m sure many people come here for the beaches

aaaaaBut I have another plan

aaaa

After all, how often do you get to visit a volcano?

aaaa

Although the steam coming from the crater makes me nervous

And this rock is uncomfortably hot

aaaa

I am relieved when we sail back to the main island

aaaa

And even more relieved when a friendly donkey carries me back up that slope

aaaa

I can’t leave Santorini without seeing that famous sunset
